The girls are asleep and i'm just sitting here thinking about the last two plus weeks. It's been amazing, crazy, sad, funny, scary, beautiful and much more. We are truly blessed as a family. God has given us An Zhen. Let me just say before you meet her that she's a firecracker. This girl has loads of personality. She's usually smiling and talking to everyone. All i'm saying is just get ready. You never have to wonder what's going on with her. She will tell you right away, but most of the time it's in Chinese. One word that you might want to know is bia. It sounds like she is saying beer with a New Jersey accent. It means don't want. The first few days we had her she was saying that to me. i figured out after a while that she was talking about me. Now we're to the stage that she loves her daddy and daddy knows it. So now when she says it about me i know it's just temporary and i tell her to shut up. Just kidding. This girl blesses my heart. i know she will yours too.
i just want everyone to know that we have been encouraged so much by your comments. They have lifted our spirits many times and also have helped us to remember that we have not been alone on this journey. Thank you so much for being there for us. We love you all. We'll see you soon. We're coming home.

Yum Yum. i love rice!
awesome...
ReplyDeleteHalayluya. Halayluya. Halayluya, Halayluya, Ha-lay-lu-ya!!!!! Yall are coming home! Words can't express what it's like to read those words. We have a "Cornelius Caravan" coming to the airport and we are just overloaded with excitement. Thank you Jesus for this wonderful little girl you have brought into our family. We all can't wait to squeeze her. He's using that precious child to change lives. It's awesome. 8000 miles away and He still uses you guys. This blog has been wonderful. It's made us all feel like we are "a part" of this whole process. Thanks for sharing it with us. BUT, we are so incredibly ready for yall to walk through that airport and get in the car! Between Pappaw, Me and Amy you will have to wade through the tears. I don't think there will be any stopping them. One more day. We will be praying at 6 tonight for safety, and for An Zhen to be calm, cool and collected for the journey home. :) As Pappaw says, I love yall better than life!
ReplyDeleteWe will be praying for y'all at LIFEgroup tonight! Praying now that you are sleeping soundly despite the excitement of coming home. We have ALL been blessed by all of the updates and pictures. The blessings have just begun tho - can't even imagine the overwhelming feeling when we actually see you all in person!!! Know that you are loved and that we are all getting very EXCITED about your safe return! Love, Love and more Love, Leah
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, Annie is so so so confused. I know she ready for yall to be home. I tell her everyday "Annie just 5 more days, just 4 more days." She just looks at me with confusion. I told her this morning that she was getting a new sister in 1 day! She wagged her tail. :) She misses the snot out of yall!
ReplyDeleteThis post gave me chills, just realizing that it will all soon be complete, so to speak. Luv yall!!!!!!
