Where do i begin? An Zhen is amazing. She is beautiful. She is so smart. She is already saying mommy & daddy in Mandarin. The first 30 minutes were not so pleasant. She wanted her nanny. We have been told that this probably means that she was loved and taken care of very well in her foster home. After the first 30 min. she began to warm up to us. Now she loves us. She has said so. She is laughing & giggling & playing. She loves to share and she has said thank you. -Clifton
Now my part...
An Zhen is beautiful and very healthy..she has grown a lot since the pictures we had. She was hysterically screaming and crying for the first 30 minutes..but once we walked outside she was great ...thanks to the Dora the Explorer hairbrush we brought...lots of cherios, lollipops, small cakes, and pink teddy blanket but she is crazy about the Dora hairbrush! she likes to hit Clifton on the head with it and brush my hair....i can't wait for you to see the pictures...this entire day has been incredible...i was crying when i saw the other moms getting their children and then when An Zhen came walking down the hall holding her nanny's hand...i recognized her at once...our baby!
This day is incredible!!!!

ReplyDeleteGuys, we are speechles.....she is beautiful. Chad just looked at her and smiled and a then said ,"she really is beautiful." Her big brother has already melted. I look at that face and think she has no clue how much love the Cornelius family and the Crosswind family is about to place on her. We are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Maybe this was why we were delayed for so long in Memphis....so that we would still be up in Colorado at 12:30 am in order to be one of the first to see your precious baby girl!!! Thank you God!!! All this week I have been showing my students your blog and talking about you to them and they have all said "that little girl is very lucky" We know she really isn't lucky though, she is BLESSED! Congratulations! She truly is a baby doll. Rozanne, I remember once when Sophie was a baby you commented on your little girl probably looking something like her. Can you believe you finally have her?! I'm very happy for your family and thankful to God for your amazing gift. Praise Him! Can't wait to meet her.

Well, Neeley and I went to take Syd somewhere and I had to come all the way back to funeral home to check things out. I am crying! She is precious. Having a little girl will melt your heart.
